As the last musical guest on Stephen Colbert’s soon-to-be-ending Comedy Central series, Kendrick briefly sat down with the comedic pundit to (hilariously) talk everything from Compton, his music and even his namesake. Afterward, Kendrick performed a new, untitled song – produced by Astronote – with the likes of Thundercat, Bilal, Anna Wise of Sonnymoon, and Terrace Martin performing alongside him on the saxophone and bass.
So, we’re gonna need that album to drop soon, Dot. I’m just saying.
