Back in November, I posted the first trailer for the Clint Eastwood-directed, Bradley Cooper-helmed American Sniper. That first trailer however, pales in comparison to the second one that was just released, making the former look like a teaser. Which it really was.
For those who don’t know, American Sniper is a biopic of highly decorated Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, a sniper from SEAL Team 3 who collected more than 160 confirmed kills. Kyle was unfortunately shot and killed last year on U.S. soil while helping a PTSD-suffering veteran at a shooting range in Texas.
I just hope they portray Chris Kyle’s legacy correctly, with honor and don’t Hollywood it too much (*cough Lone Survivor cough*). Look for the film in select theaters this Christmas Day, Dec. 25th, worldwide Jan 16th.
