“Black Hockey” represents doing something that is not expected. When you hear the word hockey the last thing one thinks of is “black people”, which is why I call myself a “black hockey player”, because my music is not made to conform to normal standards or meet generic expectations of what a hiphop artist should do or say. Anyone can be a “black hockey player”, regardless of ethnicity. It’s all about stepping outside of the box and doing something different. This is the real, authentic and official version based on my vision and brought to life with the help of Ras, Blu, Asia, Twiz, and Beatnick Dee.
