Despite alllll the promo — showing her ass-ets on “Anaconda;” a single with Chris Brown, Drake and Lil Wayne; tracks with Beyoncé, Madonna and Ariana Grande; and even getting naked for a calendar – Nicki Minaj still couldn’t land the top spot on Billboard this week. Instead, The Pinkprint falls one spot behind Taylor Swift with 244k sold (9k less than Pink Friday: Roman’s Revenge) in it’s first week – which is still a decent number, but when you factor in all the work put into promoting it, it’s gotta feel like a loss.

J. Cole stays in the Top 5, with 2014 Forest Hills Drive dropping to #4 with an additional 135k – adding to his huge debut and giving him his third straight Gold plaque.

Lastly, D’Angelo and his surprise return to music managed to take the fifth spot with Black Messiah moving 117k units.
