NW3 (Now Where Were We) Radio recently sat down with 2/3 of PRhyme (Adrian Younge was missing) a few days ago. However, instead of the usual album promotion, DJ Premier and Nickel Nine spoke on some other topics – including Rock The Bells offering Gang Starr $2 million to perform at the legendary annual show. That, as we know, never transpired as it was during the time when Guru was unfortunately dealing with cancer.
They also spoke on the time when Rakim got arrested during their (Ra and Preme’s) debut show, being at Fat Beats NYC the day it closed, Royce’s darkest album (and my personal favorite as well) Death Is Certain, visiting Guru’s son and much more.
