Like Eminem and Three 6 Mafia before them (where they would then go on to win shortly after), both Common and John are now slated to perform their Golden Globe-winning song for the film Selma at the Academy Awards (where it is also up for Best Original Song, while the movie itself is also up for Best Film). This may be one of the few times I sit through the awards show (I doubt it, though).
The Academy Awards air February 22nd, on ABC.
