D’Angelo Performs On ‘Saturday Night Live’

D’Angelo – who released his third studio album Black Messiah last month – was tonight’s guest performer on Saturday Night Live. Up top, D’bonics performs “Really Love” off the aforementioned album, backed by his live band – including John Blackwell (of Prince & The New Power Generation fame).

I wonder how many years SNL has left. I mean let’s be real here: Season 40 has been dismal at best, save for Prince & Kendrick Lamar‘s respective performances. Well, at least Eddie Murphy is making his first return appearance in 30 years this month!
