At the stroke of midnight, Dizzy Wright took to Twitter to announce his new album, The Growing Process – the official follow-up to 2012’s The First Agreement EP.
Taking it a step further, he even gifted fans with a video for it’s first single, “Train Your Mind.” A Smokie Morrison-produced track that finds Dizzy staking his claim as a true presence in the industry. The Las Vegas native keeps to his message, spreading positivity and empowerment with some inspirational words for his listeners. Channeling his inner Tupac• on the third verse as he reminds listeners that he’s got some years under his belt (“doing this way before Kendrick was rapping about lacking confidence”) and he’s aware his music might not be for everyone – but there’s no hard feelings.
Listen to “Train Your Mind” and watch the Armen Soudjian-directed video below. Then be sure to head to iTunes to support.
* Seriously, was this written on Flamingo and Koval?
