Earlier today, BBC Radio One recently aired Kanye’s return visit to Zane Lowe’s radio show. As you know, the last time he was there it begat an endless supply of quotables (from “It’s been like that for a minute, Hedi Slimane!” to “We the new rockstars! We the culture!”), so I expected another round of
meme-worthy memorable comments once again.
However, I got a more emotional ‘Ye this go-round, as while he remained very passionate about his fashion endeavors and new music (“This new album’s coming out of a fight to design”) he would actually break down and shed some tears to mourn the recent passing of Professor Louise Wilson, former director of the Central Saint Martins MA fashion degree. He also states that Drake is currently the “hottest rapper in the game” and praised his recent release, apologized for the high price point of his inaugural sneaker with adidas, meeting Paul McCartney, and much more. Watch the entire thing unfold above.
Now… can we get “All Day” please? Rumor has it, it was supposed to drop last night on iTunes…
