LA-based producer Beatnick Dee links with legendary Visionaries emcee LMNO on the apocalyptic cut “Code Red.” Says Beatnick Dee:
I met LMNO through my fellow Drumset member, Twiz The Beat Pro, and we’ve been recording a lot of material as a unit. ”Drumset Presents LMNO” came out at the end of 2014 and this song is an extension of our creative output. It has an obscure Russian sample, layered with some abstract sounds and synth I played over the top, giving LMNO a moody pallet to do his thing on. This one was originally meant for my album, but I just couldn’t make it fit with everything else on the upcoming project. A brutally honest, dark, yet fitting song for the current state of affairs.
