The eighth annual installment of The Roots’ day party-turned festival properly kicks off the unofficial start of summer with an eclectic bang, as Erykah Badu, The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky, Phantogram, Hiatus Kaiyote, Rae Sremmurd, Afrika Bambataa, Raury, DJ Mustard, and a host of others will take part in the Philadelphia function that goes down May 30th. I’ll be honest: I like – at the very least – two songs from nearly every single artist (excluding the acts I’m just not familiar with), and I may actually have to attend this festival.
Anyways, tickets go on sale this coming Friday (March 13th).
