Waka Flocka Speaks Out On SAE Racist Chant, Cancels Scheduled Performance

blame it on JES7 March 10, 2015

What exactly has to happen before the entire world shuts the f*ck down to discuss the rampant f*cking racism running through America? Like, literally, sitting down pow wow style to have a civil discussion on how to put a physical cease-and-desist order on bigotry and send a single, fatal shot through the symbolic head of white supremacy? What? More killings? SMFH.

As many of you probably have heard by now, two students were expelled from the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity at the University of Oklahoma earlier today due to a video that has gone viral over the weekend. The expletive-filled video shows the two students leading a racist chant “There will never be a ni**** SAE. You can hang him from a tree, but he can never sign with me.” (We’ve included that below because everyone needs to see it, and take a mental picture of what Racist America looks like).

As stated earlier, the two students responsible for the bigotry have since been expelled, and according to KOCO, “the national SAE organization closed the chapter, effective immediately.” But this is not enough justice. Something else needs to happen.

Anyway, Waka Flocka recently was invited as a guest on CNN. Waka, who once performed at the OU campus, discussed his disgust for the video and it’s participants. In light of the events, Waka has canceled an upcoming show at the Oklahoma campus. Earlier today, John Forté leaked a new record titled “Dawn” which touched on the events that unfolded.
