Today he’s unveiled another gift, this time in the form of this visual follow-up to its first single “Apparently.” The video for the Branford Marsalis-sampling song touches upon a rather dark time in American history, as J. Cole portrays a slave who ultimately sparks a rebellion.
Cole is currently on the road on his 2014 Forest Hills Drive Tour, which lands in Baton Rouge, LA tonight.
