When the younger generation thinks of Chicago rap these days, they think of the current drill scene that is also associated with spilled blood and excessive gang violence. Literally, survival of the fittest (and I’m not in the least bit cosigning this at all).
When us older heads think of Chicago rap, we usually think of OGs like (Tung) Twista, Crucial Conflict, Do Or Die and the “Phantom of R&B” Johnny P (aka the Nate Dogg of Chicago).
Today, Twista announced via FSD that he and Do Or Die will be releasing a new, collaborative album titled “Withdrawal” and is set to release May 19th.
Look out for the first single titled “Aqua Fina” which should be dropping sometime later today.
