Urban entertainment’s renaissance man, Jamie Foxx is working on both a new album – Hollywood, which has a scheduled release date of May 19th – and an upcoming biopic on Mike Tyson (which will be written by Terence Winter, whose credits include The Sopranos, The Wolf Of Wall Street, and creating Boardwalk Empire, among many others).
This morning, Foxx stopped by Hot 97’s morning show with Ebro, Peter Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez to talk about both subjects. After describing the opening scene of the Tyson film, he also divulged a little more information on Hollywood as well. He then told a couple humorous stories about recording “Slow Jamz” with one Kanye West and getting caught checking out the FLOTUS Michelle Obama. Watch the entire sit-down below.
