Jetson – “Paths”

blame it on Patrick Glynn May 27, 2015

The name isn’t new, but the sounds are new to my ears. We all know the Jetson family: Elroy, Judy, Jane, the dad (I forgot his name because I forgot the song). But little did we know way back before those Jetsons roamed space, there was one that roamed the Earth making tunes, one in particular where he contemplates certain paths he’s taken or needs to take in order to succeed.

On his quick new single, “Paths,” Jetson mentions that “20 seconds by myself would be the death of me,” showing, for him, life’s coming quick, and it’s hard to choose the right path. It’s hard to think. It’s hard to write. It’s hard with pressure. In the end, it all slows down after smoking some L’s and things seem to be okay for the moment. If The Jetsons are any indication, Jetson made it through this life alright. He’s heading down the right path, he just needs to think straight. The pressure will pass with time.
