One of Las Vegas’ most talented artists, Marion Write, has been steadily building his buzz in the indie rap scene for a while now. During the making of his recent album Black Gold Marion would document its process, which he’d turn into his new documentary The Message:

The Message chronicles the inspirations behind Vegas recording artist Marion Write and his endeavors during the creation of his album Black Gold – remembering his past of musical influences from his upbringing in Virginia Beach to his local rise in Las Vegas. This documentary shares stories from the people that surround him in his personal life and showcases the rapper while he works on his most acclaimed piece of work to date. Las Vegas has a flourishing hip-hop community which can not be told without Marion Write’s story – including the rise and fall of The BlackBook Sessions that catapulted the respect from others as one of the most talked about rappers in the city. With unbreakable charisma and a dedicated hustle to tell his story to the masses, Marion is one of the most respected artist the world has yet to know.
