It’s been a while since Kane Mayfield popped up at the DopeHouse, but the boisterous emcee returns with a new single off of his upcoming LP Return Of Rap. Kane explains:
“‘Shoes’ is a look into… well… perception vs understanding. If we put ourselves into each others shoes, we’d be better off. Actually… we just wouldn’t be as much of a jerk lol. So the first verse is just being a functional person and what you deal with. And the second verse is on being Middle Eastern, and the labels that come with that.”
