British R ‘n’ B singer/producer Azekel gets me hyped. Not only does he actually produce most of his own music, he can sing and relies mainly on himself for how good his music and videos are. He doesn’t seem like the product of anyone else, though his sounds aren’t anything staggeringly new, but it’s songs like “Mad About The Boy” that showcase his awesome song-making skills.
The video for “Mad About The Boy,” which was released three weeks ago, was released today, and it features Azekel in old-Apple-commericial style, with his silhouette singing, dancing and spinning around enjoying the infectious grooves of the song.
Azekel’s Raw, Vol. 1 EP comes out July 12, which will feature “Mad About The Boy.” Check the video above.
