Look who’s joining in on the “album anniversary” craze.
For one night only Jeezy will revisit his “Young” roots and will commemorate the tenth birthday of his breakout third album, Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101, with a star-studded affair next month. According to a press release, the artist formerly known as Lil’ J will take over Atlanta’s Fox Theatre on July 25th to perform TM101 in its entirety for the very first time. Jeezy will be joined by a variety of “special guests,” which I’m assuming will be those who guested on the album: Mannie Fresh (for “And Then What”), Trick Daddy and Young Buck (for “Last of a Dying Breed”), T.I. and Lil Scrappy (for “Bang”), Akon (for “Soul Survivor”) and JAY Z (for “Go Crazy”).
Tickets for the anniversary concert will go on sale on Friday (June 12th), and can be bought at either www.foxatltix.com or the Fox Theatre box office. Needless to say, if you’re in Atlanta you should attend this.
