Go Behind-the-Scenes of The Social Experiment’s “Sunday Candy” Video

blame it on Patrick Glynn June 8, 2015

If you had any doubt that Donnie Trumpet & The Social Experiment’s “Sunday Candy” video wasn’t shot in one almost-four-minute-long take, JOKE’S ON YOU.

Today, Chance the Rapper unveiled a video that showed the video being shot from above the stage it was filmed on with the cast and crew scouring around like ants to make the video as excellent as it was. In the video, dancers waited patiently at the hip of the cameraman waiting to hop in for just a couple frames and stagehands hid behind the set to push it out of the way so another large piece could enter. The kids from Chicago have always show a great camaraderie when it comes to making music, so it’s cool seeing everyone — it seems like at least 30 to 40 people — work together in harmony.
