DeJ Loaf is winning right now. Since formally introducing herself with last summer’s “Try Me,” she’s gone on to work with Lil Wayne, Omarion, Tinashe, Eminem and Kid Ink, while landing on XXL’s 2015 Freshman class and performing on both stages at Hot 97’s SummerJam.
With a spotlight firmly planted on her, the Detroit talent has been back in the studio working on her next project And See That’s The Thing. Set to arrive sometime this year she’s dropped the first single off of it, with production by her “Try Me” co-conspirator DDS. Needless to say, the song is decidedly less sweeter than the unassuming threats of its predecessor and much more aggressive. Listen below.
