As you read this, Alex Wiley is currently in the studio putting in the final touches on his next full-length album, Synthia. Due out this September, the LP is said to pick up where 2014’s Village Party left off.
“‘Feast’ is just completely about my life now and the way I see the world now,” Wiley told Billboard. “‘One Singular Flame Flame Emoji‘ [his release from earlier this year] was just something separate that we just did on our own, this feels like the follow-up from Village Party. It feels like an album. ‘Synthia’ has a point of view, a whole aesthetic to it. It’s new. It’s me but updated with a new perspective, new experiences.”
