When I moved to New York Red Cafe was one of the more talked-about artists out at the time. Recently aligning himself with Diddy/Puffy/Puff Daddy/Puffa-Diddy Diddy Puff Fun-Size’s Bad Boy Records, his appropriately-titled single “Hottest In Da Hood” had those whispers of yet another Bad Boy comeback. Unfortunately, things did not go as planned, but that hasn’t stopped Red from releasing a steady stream of music since.

As he preps his new project Shakedown Empire: Volume 1 for release in the coming weeks he’s teamed with production team the League Of Starz on its first offering, a quasi-sequel of his 2010 single with Diddy and Fabolous, “Money, Money, Money” with a minimalist backdrop and some ominous drums. Listen below.
