Taking it back, golden border-style.

J. Cole is currently on a mini-break from his Forest Hills Drive Tour before he kicks off its “Hollywood Act” with guests Big Sean, YG, and Jeremih in July.

Well, to celebrate the six-year anniversary of his 2009 breakthrough mixtape The Warm Up, Cole has now announced that before the FHD Tour begins again he will be performing his 2010 project Friday Night Lights in its entirety at select dates.

Like the previous incarnations, the D.O.A.D. Tours will only cost attendees one dollar, and will be made available to them on a first-come, first serve basis. Beginning June 21st, the cities of Dallas, Los Angeles, Atlanta and New York will be the fortunate recipients this time around.

Needless to say, you can either take the trek to one of the four cities (and why not? It’s the summer), or you’ll just have to patiently wait until his Forest Hills Drive Tour lands in your town.

SHAKE UPDATE: To help give you an idea of what to expect, here’s a new recap of The Warm Up portion of the tour. Cameos include Kendrick Lamar, Drake and more.
