After I graduated boot camp in 2000 and headed to Pensacola, FL for my A-School, one of the first things I did was head to the Commissary and cop a bunch of CDs. One of those being Ginuwine’s classic 100% Ginuwine. The album which preceded this was “meh” – although it did feature the smash stripper anthem “Pony.”
100%, however, was one of those cohesive R&B joints, the last of the Mohicans if you will, before Britney Spears and wack Top 40 R&B started shooting to the top of the charts. This CD was the soundtrack to my bachelor life throughout A-school.
I digress. The Bachelor seems to be making a comeback of sorts, with a new album titled Bachelor Again But Wiser on the horizons. The news is enough to make any of us 80s/90s babies smile. First the return of Jodeci and now this?
