Is Diddy really trying to start beef with the West Coast again?

Sean “Diddy or Puff Daddy or P. Diddy or Diddy Dirty Money or (my new favorite) I Try And Hit People With Kettlebells” Combs has been arrested for allegedly swinging a kettlebell at a UCLA football coach. He’s been charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

Diddy’s son Justin Combs is a cornerback at UCLA and was yelled at by strength and conditioning coach Sam Alosi during a practice Monday, according to TMZ. Alosi was on the phone when Diddy confronted him, Alosi told Diddy to “hold on,” then he picked up the kettlebell and swung it at Alosi. He didn’t connect.

As of writing this, Diddy is still being held in a UCLA jail.

This isn’t Alosi’s first time making headlines. In 2010, he tripped a Miami Dolphins player during a game while coaching the New York Jets. Watch it here.

UPDATE: You knew 50 Cent had to offer his thoughts…

UPDATE 2: The charges are in…

UPDATE 3: Puff’s team issues a statement via RevoltTV.

“The various accounts of the event and charges that are being reported are wholly inaccurate. What we can say now is that any actions taken by Mr. Combs were solely defensive in nature to protect himself and his son. We are confident that once the true facts are revealed, the case will be dismissed.”
