King Los is a rapper’s rapper. A real emcee in every sense of the word. And when it comes to this freestyle thing? He’s standing tall over the competition. The way he’s able to come up with bars on the fly is pretty amazing. From going off over Alchemist beats for nearly 15 minutes to destroying cyphers, he’s truly got a gift with words.
Back in March of last year, Los made his way to Sway in the Morning and took part in the 5 Fingers of Death segment. The end result? An absolute massacre.
Now, with his new album, God Money War, in stores today, the Baltimore native made his way back up to Sway’s morning show. And considering how lethal Los was the first time around, Sway was a bit more prepared this time. Armed with a few classic instrumentals from the likes of Nas, Pac, and Biggie, the morning host began to rattle off words in an attempt to trip up the seasoned spitter. It didn’t work.
