Monday night, Leon Bridges performed for the first time on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, playing the title-track form Coming Home, his debut album released today.
I felt like it was slow-dance time at the southern version of Rydell High’s prom. Donning a slow tempo and 10-gallon hats, Bridges made it a “tender and sweet-loving” affair on the Studio 6B stage at 30 Rock. The late shows really should have an area for the audience to dance. I feel like it’d make the show a little bit more intimate. JUST A THOUGHT. Let’s move on.
Watch the performance below, and make sure to grab Coming Home on iTunes.
