Milwaukee-born, Chicago-based producer Odd Couple is gearing up to release his Chatterbox album on June 30th. Two years in the making, OC gathered a variety of talented artists to assist in the creation – Michael Christmas, Allan Kingdom, Pell, Alex Wiley, and Kweku Collins to name a few.
Last week, we were blessed with “Me Time” featuring The O’My’s, Kweku, and Jack Red, and now, Odd Couple is dolo on the project’s next single, “DayDream.”
Speaking FuseTV, Odd Couple had the following to say about the record:
“‘DayDream’ really came from me more or less envisioning that breakthrough moment where the trials make sense, the work pays off, where I can just say, ‘It was worth it.’ And because that concept is pretty personal to me, I wanted to do everything myself, and make it as big and dynamic and individual as I could. I’ve gotten so much better at taking an idea or a feeling I’ve experienced and expressing it sonically.
Chatterbox arrives June 30th.
