Brutal honesty: I didn’t expect much from TeeFLii. During my trip back to Los Angeles a few years ago, the song he had out at the moment – “This D” – left a lot to be desired, and I didn’t pay too much attention to his music afterwards.
Then came “24 Hours.” While the song was catchy, it wasn’t until “Change Your World” and his debut album, Starr, when he caught my ear once again. He’s now returned with the fourth installment of his interestingly-titled AnNieRuO’TAY mixtape series, and this re-up has contributions from Skeme, Jeremih, Kevin McCall, Casey Veggies, Nipsey Hussle, and many others.
