As much as social media irks me, it does have its advantages – especially when running a website. Hell, if it weren’t for Twitter, I might not have learned about Jean Grae‘s latest project. Luckily, during a back-and-forth about dirt, bricks and coffee (don’t ask), she revealed she had “two new albums” out. Wait, what?! iSweatergawd dropped late last month, and I thought that was it. Turns out, Ms. Grae also released a follow-up project the very next day that I completely missed out on. Anyways, here we are…

Ditching the rappity raps heard on iSweater, Grae’s SAIX EP is all about bedroom Jean.

“Hey there. Welcome to SAIX. It is the follow up to #5. Do you have that? Get it. You’re here already. So, yah. Six songs. Sex, love, relationships, jams, bass. Quelle Chris produced 3 jams on this album. Denmark Vessey is on it. Enjoy. OOH. I forgot! SO NSFW. Also probably not good for your subwoofer. It’s so on.”
