Boogie‘s stock continues to rise. After catching folks’ attention last year with his Thirst 48 project, and later blowing the doors off the industry with his Jahlil Beats-laced banger, “Oh My,” the Compton-bred, Long Beach-living emcee kept the momentum rolling with the release of his new project, The Reach.

In an effort to offer more insight into his daily life and hustle, Yours Truly put together a fantastic piece on the promising rookie. From interviews with his DJ and mother, The Ladder is mini-documentary that finds Boogie sharing details on his neighborhood, raising his son, his ascension in the game, the way gang-banging is perceived by the media, and much more.
