This weekend was pretty intense. DopeHouseLA was a huge success and pretty much set the tone for the rest of the Fourth of July festivities that followed. I’ve gotta be honest though, in the midst of the madness, I found myself constantly trying to contain the excitement I had for this Bears Like This Too project. Knowing it was arriving today and having to get through the extended weekend was tough – but, we’re here!
As a follow-up to last year’s Bears Like This, the Spillage Village collective – consisting of DopeHouse favorites EarthGang and J.I.D. from Atlanta, and Baltimore’s Jordxn Bryant and Hollywood JB – have returned with Bears Like This Too. An eight-track effort full of entertaining and complex lyricism over the smooth board work of Childish Major, Atom & Jon, Pacman ADV, Archibald Slim, Oxy, Christo, and Singawd.
