Haleek Maul – “Money God” (Video)

blame it on Patrick Glynn July 9, 2015

Haleek Maul has been relatively dormant over the last four years since dropping Oxyconteen, but after finishing school and focusing on music again, the Brooklyn emcee has returned with the bass-heavy “Money God,” which is the first single off his upcoming Prince Midas mixtape.

Grabbing influence from the grime and dancehall genre in the flow, lyrics and delivery, Maul aggressively stunts over trap, bass-heavy production handled by himself and Shy Guy. The Money God is stressing him out, leading to drinking and smoking, but he’s praying there will be a way to get rid of his stresses.
