From the looks of it, Comic-Con 2015 was a huge success this year. And why not? The annual fan convention set social media ablaze, with promos and trailers for fan favorites, new, upcoming shows and exciting, fresh films. However the event reached a fever pitch when the official trailer for DC Comics’ Zac Snyder-directed Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was finally revealed.
The new film stars Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne (despite public outcry) and Henry Cavill (reprising his role from Man Of Steel) as Superman/Clark Kent; two beloved superhero vigilantes pitted against each other.
Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’ most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before. – via IMDB
Watch the three and a half minute trailer below – and trust, you will be in suspense – then sound off in the C-section on your comments, concerns and complaints. I’d like to add, 2016 looks to be an intense year for DC Entertainment and Warner Bros., although I’m a bit more excited to see motherf*cking Suicide Squad (with Will Smith (Deadshot), Jared Leto (The Joker), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc), Jai Courtney (Boomerang), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), Karen Fukuhara (Katana) and Viola Davis (Amanda Waller).
