I’ll be honest.
I was enjoying a nice, elongated weekend off when the DopeHouse’s JES7 hit my phone about two things: the most recent Saturday Night Sexy, and the official trailer for the upcoming Batman v Superman film. So, naturally after perusing through Jiordyn’s feminine wiles I peeped the long-awaited, nearly four-minute long trailer. And I must say… I was left underwhelmed by it.
Blame the fact that we’ve been spoiled by three rather epic Batman movies over the last ten years already, or the fact that I’m more gassed for Deadpool instead. But since Comic Con was this past weekend (attending that has been on my bucket list for years now), it was only a matter of time before the trailer for the second film I’m most interested in watching dropped as well.
Because, you know, leaking movies is much more scandalous than leaking music. But this Arnold Palmer drink I’m sipping on is wavy right now.
Anyways, we finally get the first official look at the upcoming movie for Suicide Squad, which stars Will Smith, Cara Delevingne, Margot Robbie and many others. While we’ve seen shots of most of the actors, the one person virtually everybody is waiting on – Jared Leto’s take on The Joker – finally makes his hyped debut as well.
August 5th, 2016 is the due date. Marvel has some legit competition now…
