Comedy Central’s Key & Peele wasn’t supposed to last as long as it has. The latest in an ever-growing line of Chappelle’s Show wannabes successors – which includes Mind Of Mencia, Kroll Show, Jon Benjamin Has a Van, Important Things with Demetri Martin, and a host of others that ultimately never lasted – has not only survived all this time but has thrived, winning and being nominated for Peabody, Writers Guild and NAACP Image Awards. Recently beginning its fifth season, the next episode will feature none other than GQ’s face of opulence – 2 Chainz – as the three have “teamed” to form the hottest wedding band in all of Scottsdale, AZ: Absorption!
