Soulection and Goldlink collaborator Louie Lastic has released his first solo track, “Close2u,” and it grooves through the night until the morning sun.
Louie flipped Maxi Priest’s “Close To You,” turning the intimate hit from the ’90s into an uptempo joy ride of fresh vibes. Priest’s version of the song from 1990 stalls after a couple minutes, just because the sound and structure of a verse-chorus-verse-chorus-bridge-chorus. Louie Lastic livened the joint up a bit, and you can listen to it below.
