My Krazy Life from YG was a really good album, one of the best projects of 2013. Despite his outward demeanor and the brilliant ignorance that is “Blame It On The Streets,” the Bompton emcee put out one of the most comprehensive rap albums in recent memory.

After taking a bit of a hiatus, which also included him unfortunately getting shot, the Bompton rep is ready to re-up with his new album Still Krazy. While there’s no exact timetable on the project’s release (because surprise drops are all the rage now. Thanks Beyoncé!), he has announced that the first single from the forthcoming album, “Twist My Fingaz,” will drop on July 16th. He took to his Instagram to preview the song, which you can check below.

Not gonna lie… this sounds tough as nails.

UPDATE: YG and Krayzie Bone recently connected with South Korean producers Brave Brothers for their new single, “Cash Money.” You can peep that below and cop on iTunes if you’re digging it.

The international collaborators have nothing but praise to say of one another. “Brave keeps it all ‘G,'” YG tells Billboard. “Bro is definitely one of the most profound international producers of our time.” Meanwhile, Brave added that “YG is the new West Coast sound at its finest — he’s a lyrical genius.”
