I openly stan for DJ Premier, all things Clipse and the production of The Neptunes. So when two of the three linked up – in this case, 2002’s Lord Willin’ – dropped, it has been one of my favorite albums of all time. “Cot Damn” is still one of the hardest tracks from the album, and I’m almost always unimpressed by people who attempt to take on the booming instrumental. Sheek Louch, however, is the exception to that rule, as he skaets in and out of the beat with relative ease.
Shouts to Donald Trump. Silverback Gorilla 2 is on the way.
