Chance the Rapper had the honor of closing out Pitchfork Music Festival — in his hometown — Sunday. One of the best songs Chance has been a part of contains the day of the week he was performing on in its name, so he had to make the performance extraordinary.

Chance brought out popular gospel singer Kirk Franklin and a white-robed choir to perform “Sunday Candy.” Franklin mainly performed as a hype man for the four-minute performance, making gestures the crowd should follow along to and ramping up the choir’s energy. The whole night seemed amazing based on Billboard‘s experience. Chance called the performance a “historic night” for himself and said it’s the last time he’s going to perform in Chicago for a while, because he wants to “grow up,” according to the Chicago Tribune.
