Ilyas Nashid, who was one third of Tanya Morgan, has focused on his solo work since leaving the group in 2009. Unfortunately, the emcee hasn’t release much since then. Now, though, we get two new projects in a week from the Cincinnati artist, one being his Transformation Part 1: Ego LP with Quintessence James. The tagline of the album is “Before iEL, there was… Ilyas,” suggesting that his next string of projects will show a “transformation” to his alter ego, iEL.
