After linking up earlier in the year for “Lean On,” Major Lazer and Danish singer MØ join once again to cover Frank Ocean’s “Lost.” Ocean is set to release an album by the end on this month, so now’s a good time to visit some of the sounds of his previous album, Channel ORANGE.
Because of Major Lazer’s reggae influences, the cover follows suit, and it works out really well. It’s a pretty straight-forward cover in terms of song structure, but Diplo’s production stands out, adding his own flavor and giving the song a more relaxed feel.
