Earlier this week Tyrese nabbed his first-ever No. 1 on the Billboard charts with his sixth – and final – album, Black Rose. To achieve that accomplishment, the artist also known as Black Ty (or Jody from Baby Boy, or Roman Pearce from the Fast & Furious film series) did a variety of… interesting marketing and promotional tactics, including recreating his infamous Coca Cola advert which shot him into the national spotlight:

So, naturally, it’s right that Sean Price – legendary soul vocalist that he is – pulled the same stunt recently.
As side-splitting as this is, it’s for good reason: on August 21st P! will release a new mixtape, Songs In The Key of Price. If more musicians went to these lengths to promote their wares, the world would be a much better place.
