Khary Durgans – one of our favorite upstarts, hailing from Providence, RI – is back on the scene with a new single. Linking up with producer Ozhora Miyagi, the two deliver the vintage “Donkey Kong 64.”

“I made this song a few months ago after Ozhora Miyagi had sent me a bunch of beats,” Khary tells OKP. “This one stuck out to me because I really couldn’t picture myself rapping on it. It sounds like if the music for (Nintendo 64’s) Donkey Kong 64 had been turned in trap soundtrack (hence the name). The song was half written and half a freestyle; I just had fun with it. I sent Akeem Team, who’s been killing it, some artwork ideas and here we are with me fishing, Pepe the Frog, and a Magicarp.”
