Finale – “The Revival” f. Invincible & Pierre Anthony (prod. Oddisee)

blame it on Patrick Glynn July 30, 2015

Finale is set to release Odds & Ends, his first album since 2009, on August 14. Following the first single,”Just Due” with Homeboy Sandman and Miz Korona, the Detroit-bred rapper teams up with natives from the area, Invincible and Pierre Anthony, for “The Revival” produced by Oddisee.

Over the DMV producer’s quick, smooth, jazzy production, Invincible is bookended by verses from Finale, where the two contemplate their life’s plan and, more importantly, their next move. It correlates to Finale’s career thus far, with it being six years since his last album. Though it’s taken patience, the release of Odds & Ends is calculated, informed, and he’s gotten to live life instead of suffering from the daily grind that sees life fly by too fast.
