Alicia Keys – “28 Thousand Days”

Alicia Keys has been dormant most of the year, apart from her involvement that was the fuckery of the TiDAL document signing, and it’s understandably so after birthing her second child at the end of 2014. The singer has made a return, though, with a new single, “28 Thousand Days.”

The single, which will probably land on Keys’ next album, whenever it may come out, is a chanting song preaching you should live life to the fullest. She claims you only have 28,000 days to live, which is just under 77 years (the average life span), so you should have fun while doing it. Thanks for putting a time stamp on my death, Mrs. Keys. That is, unless we’re all interpreting the song wrong and she’s saying the world will only be around another 28,000 days from today. In that case, Demigod Keys thinks the world will end in about 76.66 years.

I’m going to guess my latter assumption is completely false, so listen to the song with the thought in mind you should be owning the shit out of today, tomorrow and the day after that and the day after that and so on.
