Guilty Simpson is set to release an album through Stones Throw by the end of the year (hopefully), and he follows up his first single, the vicious “Vanguard Organization,” with aggression to match on “Animal.”
The Detroit emcee addresses police brutality and relation on the new Katalyst-produced single, saying the “pigs” are “snakes,” trying to kill black people like they’re “animals.” They’re “packs of wolves” who are “gorilla killers,” who are threatened when they see lions ruling the kingdom.
