I’d previously written that Fetty has an EP’s worth of radio-ready singles that have either currently landed on the charts (“My Way,” “679 (Remy Boyz),” “Trap Queen“) or have potential to land on them, and I mentioned that “Again” was one of those songs with that potential. Well, after revealing couple other one-off songs over the last several weeks, he and his 1738 crew master and re-release “Again” for the public’s consumption.
Cut from the same cloth as “My Way” and “Trap Queen,” the “Again” is another Fetty take on a love song. It’s not reinventing the wheel, but his off-kilter and sing-songy vocals – combined with a heavy backdrop – provides Fetty with another single perfect for the summer as the season begins to approach its backend.
